Let beauty and luxury surround you at this spacious custom home located at Electra Lake. The incredible scenery will amaze you as you take in gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains from almost every room in the house. Located on 9 acres in a private and secluded community, this home is only 7 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 miles to Downtown Durango, and is close to many other great activities such as hiking, fishing, and riding at Rapp Corrall. The home is fully stocked with everything you could need for a first class getaway, including a large kitchen and plenty of dining space, a gas grill, and wifi. The master bedroom features a King bed plus in-room fireplace and tv, and a private bath with standing shower plus large soaking tub. Bedroom 2 features a Queen bed with private full bath. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed and shared a Jack and Jill bath with Bedroom 4 that has a Queen bed plus a Twin Bunk bed. Outside enjoy the large wrap around balcony deck perfect for taking in the beautiful l landscape that is all around you. There is a full garage and plenty of parking. Electra Lake has just opened again this summer (June 17 through Labor Day) and is a great place for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing.
You must have 4 wheel drive with snow tires or chains in winter – no exceptions.

Large, lovely, comfortable home with an outstanding view. This is a home IN the mountains, not just a view of the mountains from a distance. We had a family reunion, with ages ranging from 11 to 80 - and everyone was happy and comfortable. Ten of us were easily accommodated. Management was very responsive to a few issues that popped up - overall the house was beautifully appointed, neat and clean.

The home and surrounding area are simply wonderful. The views are beyond magnificent, and we even saw a bald eagle hanging around the house during our stay.

This home was everything we wanted. Near enough to Durango, yet far enough away to have spectacular views and hear the wind blow thru the pines. Every window in this lovely home gave you a view. Clean, comfortable, all the conveniences of home and wonderfully furnished.

My family stayed at this home during our annual summer off-roading trip to the Alpine Loop. This house stunning! It sits above a lake and is tucked into the woods. Even though the lake was not completely full (as the dam undergoes repairs), it was still amazing! The views from the deck were just perfect. The house is in a neighborhood that has dirt roads, but the driveway to the house is paved. Even though we did get one of our trucks with a trailer up the driveway, it really is not designed for a truck towing a trailer. This was not an issue as it was actually easier to find a place to park the trailers in Silverton, close to where we were spending our days. This was by far the nicest, most beautiful house we have ever stayed at. Simply amazing!

Have stayed in a lot of places where the photos are better than the actual property. In this case, the photos don't capture how terrific this property is. The setting and the view are amazing, especially given there are no other houses or development within sight in any direction. The house is also fantastic with every amenity we could want. The 180 degree view of the San Jauns was just beautiful.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. I should have made it the last stop instead of the first. There's no topping it. We are in love with this house and Durango. The view is breathtaking, and the home is warm and cozy. I would not change a single thing about this place. The appliances are dated but I think they add character. Don't change them. Allowing us to stay here and make memories was a gift to us and we are forever grateful. We will absolutely come back as long as the property is available. Maybe for our anniversary? Thank you. The property managers Kevin and Gwen are amazing people. They were responsive, kind and showed us real Colorado hospitality. Kevin, Gwen, thank you.
