The Hermosa Casa Verde is a spacious home with a great location half way between downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort. Situated on 3 acres, this home is close to Hermosa Creek trail head and backs to National Forest land, making it a very private getaway while still being close to all Durango has to offer. The entry level features a bunk room perfect for the kids, with a streaming TV and Twin over Full Bunk bed. Also on this floor is a large bedroom with King bed, TV in room, and pellet stove, as well as a shared full bath. Upstairs on the middle level you will find a cozy sitting area by the stove, perfect for reading a good book and gazing at the valley views. Upstairs you will find the main living area with floor to ceiling windows and a large open kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you could need to make a meal and there is a dining table for 8 as well as additional bar seating. The amazing 900 square foot deck is complete with private hot tub, gas grill, and plenty of outdoor seating. It is also fenced in for pets. 3 bedrooms are found on this floor. First is the master suite with King bed, TV in room, and private bath. The other two bedrooms both feature Queen beds and share a full bath.
This home is dog friendly. Approved Dogs are allowed with a non-refundable fee per pet based on size/type. Please let us know about your pet(s) when inquiring or making your reservation.

We visit Durango yearly as a three generation family. This was the perfect place for us. The lower level gave our daughter, son in law and grandchildren some space and privacy of their own. We had room for some of our in-laws to visit/ski for a few days while we were there also. I enjoyed the large living room area with its very comfortable and relaxing furniture. The deck was amazing and added so much livable space. In addition our grandchildren loved playing on the secure deck. I can't say enough about the place. It had everything we needed plus some. Deer romped through the yard, the views and natural light were spectacular and the location fit us perfectly. It is near Durango Hot Springs, Purgatory Ski Resort and down town Durango. It was a great family vacation and the accommodations did not disappoint. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us. We will be back!!!!!

Wonderful property with spectacular views! Convenient to everything. Everything well furnished. Really made use of the hot tub. Place suited 10 people quite well without crowding.

This house was perfect for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving and enjoyed the views. We were able to visit Durango and Silverton!

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Our family had a wonderful time the house is very well supplied with everything you need. The only complaint I would have is that there is no ice maker in the frig and we had one blind missing in one of the bedrooms. Otherwise it was arranged well for our family everyone had their own space for privacy but very nice common areas when all wanted to get together. Be aware that there is no a/c in the home and we were there when it was high temps. It was only a problem mid afternoon at night you needed a blanket.

This place was quite and amazing space and the view were like no other. It had everything we needed and the rooms to accommodate the group of 9 that we were. One of the best things was that they allowed pets so we were able to bring our 2 furbabies with us. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

Everything about the check in was clear and simple. All necessary information is included. The home was spotless and every possible amenity was thought of. We will be returning sometime. We left with hugs, a feeling of knowing and loving each other even better and with the majesty of the truly amazing scenery in our hearts and minds forever.

The house is amazing and quiet. Spectacular views and great that it is pet friendly. My teen loved the basketball court and the smaller kids played all day in the bunk room. We loved every minute of it!

The pictures of this beautiful house don't do it justice! It was very well stocked and so comfortable for our large group. The little ones especially enjoyed the reading nook with its windows to watch the wildlife through! The hot tub was well maintained and perfect for after a day of skiing. The location between the mountain and town is great! We enjoyed our trip so much that we requested an extra day! Thank you for being so accommodating and responsive to all of our needs. We can't wait to rent again!

My family could not be more pleased with every aspect of our time spent at Hermosa Casa Verde. The location, views, and overall accommodations are spectacular. The location is perfect. It provides quick access to both Purgatory and Downtown Durango. This was our second trip to this location and we are hopeful we will be back again next year. Thankful for the owners and Durango Red Cliff Properties for sharing this wonderful home.

House was fabulous! Had all the room we needed and the kitchen was fully stocked to make almost anything. The backyard was perfect for a little sled run and the large deck with hot tub were perfect for watching sunsets and sitting outside.
