This one of a kind beautiful mountain estate is brand new to the rental market and situated on 9.5 acres in a private, gated community. Nestled against national forest on two sides this property also features a natural mountain pond out back and views of Engineer Mountain in the distance. A year round creek runs through the property and outside the master suite a majestic seasonal waterfall can be heard and seen from most of the bedrooms. This location is ideal for those looking for privacy in the aspens and pines while still being only 4 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort, and a short drive into either Durango or Silverton. The home features first class finishes throughout and has recently been remodeled with all new furnishings. The large master suite has a fireplace and a beautiful bath with large shower and soaking tub. Also on the main level is a guest suite with private bath and balcony in addition to an office that is surrounded by windows and forest views that accommodates at least 2 people working. Starlink internet is available in case you need to work remotely or feel like streaming. The main level also has a hot tub on the balcony that has views of the national forest and the rest of the homes private acreage. 2 bedrooms up and 2 down make it perfect for multiple families. The downstairs has a bedroom with a king bed with a private bath and another bedroom with a king and queen bed with a bath that can be private or shared. For additional space, there is a bonus room downstairs that has a queen and two twins. Downstairs there is also a separate living space, kitchen, media room, and fully equipped gym. In the spacious garage you will also find a ping pong table for entertainment. Surrounded by hiking trails, you are right off the famous Mill Creek, in this truly enchanted forest hideaway.

There is plenty of space to spread out and it is clear no expense was spared in appointing the home. We went at the very beginning of Spring; even with a bunch of trail access still blocked by snow there is a ton of great hiking with beautiful views within a 20 minute drive. We stayed about 10 days and there was still more to explore. The host was very helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

This place and location was as beautiful as expected. We could see the slopes from the hot tub and the house was stocked with anything you would need. Would definitely stay there again!

The home is top notch and has every amenity you could ever want in a vacation home! The hot tub is a wonderful way to relax after a day of hiking or skiing! There is plenty of space and the upper level open floor plan makes it great for large groups. You are 4 miles from the ski resort, so if you accidentally forget an item at their home, no sweat. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area, and I will definitely return.

We had two large families stay there with more than enough space. Everything is clean and new. We love to cook and unlike most rental homes, this kitchen is fully stocked with high quality cookware and amazing appliances. It was such a treat! We loved the hot tub on cooler mountain mornings. Unbelievable home, we hope to go back!

This property is perfect for a multigenerational family gathering or a just a getaway with friends. The setting is beautiful and serene while being close to Purgatory for skiing or exploring Durango. You are also close to some great day hikes. The home was warm and inviting with every amenity you will need to enjoy your vacation. First Class all the way!

The house is beautiful and surrounded by gorgeous views! The house had everything we needed for a week in the mountains. (Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer) We were close to several amazing hikes and close enough for a day trip to both Ouray and Pagosa Springs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Enchanted Forest Hideaway! The home is beautiful and has all the amenities you need in a vacation rental. Everything was user friendly. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The beds were so comfortable, it was hard to want to get out of bed (which is saying a lot with the gorgeous views outside your window and activities to do steps outside your door)! The home was minutes from Purgatory. While Durango is a car ride away, we found ourselves wanting to stay close to the house & it truly had it all! We will definitely be going back!

This mountain hideaway is truly awe inspiring, offering unparalleled views of nature along with privacy from it all. The home is in immaculate condition, fully furnished with an ambience of invitation to make you feel right at home. Less than ten minutes away from the ski lifts and a quick car ride to Durango proper the home achieves a perfect harmony of accessibility and seclusion. This house offers something for everybody no matter the time of year, all you need to do is unwind and enjoy yourself.

The Enchanted Forest house is a luxurious home away from home, with all the comforts one can think of. The home is immaculate with clean smells that are natural and not over-bearing. The kitchen is fully stocked so you and your family can cook large group meals together. The beds are the most comfortable, from comfortable mattress to the thoughtful linens and covers to keep you warm and cozy, you will actually sleep better than in your own bed. Plush towels, stylish and comfortable furnishings, clean hot tub and did I mention the view and the amazing surroundings. You will never want to wake up from the dream. But it doesn’t have to be a dream.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home for a week in June. The home had everything we needed. We cooked many meals and the kitchen was well supplied with all the dishes and cookware we needed. Purgatory is only a few miles down the road and there are many beautiful hiking trails within minutes of the home. If you get a chance drive to Silverton and Ouray which are a short drive away. The scenery is amazing. Overall we loved the home and really enjoyed our stay.
